Life of Freedom is the ability to make choices that are self-determined. This freedom gives us the power to explore new places, make the most of our potential, and follow our passions without fear of reprisal. It also allows us to form meaningful relationships and pursue happiness on our own terms.
This freedom is a gift of God. When we accept his gift, we are set free to live according to the Spirit and not the flesh. This can be difficult for some because it is not comfortable to let go of things we are used to or that seem to bring us security. But the Lord is ready to carry our burdens, fears and addictions for us so we don’t have to. He will help you break free from the chains of slavery to work, sex, drugs, money, approval and control that have been holding you back. He will heal your wounds, cleanse you of your sin and restore your health. He will give you hope and a future. He will take your shame and guilt away and replace it with a glorious identity as a child of God. He will fill you with his joy and peace that surpasses all understanding and he will give you a new way of living and loving others.
The road to individual freedom is messy and there will be many obstacles that come up. You will need to be resilient and always keep your eyes on the prize. It is important to have a clear definition of what freedom means for you and to dismiss anything that does not align with your vision. You will need to be patient and consistent with your efforts as it takes time to build new habits. It is essential to be surrounded by positive people who support and encourage you along the way.
You can experience true freedom in your lifetime by letting go of your ego and attachments to your beliefs, judgments, cravings, desires and limiting self talk. Then you can experience the ultimate freedom that is rooted in the core of your being with responsibility, fearlessness, compassion and non judgemental approach.
This is a process and you will need to Life of Freedom constantly reevaluate and reassess your decisions and priorities. It is important to have a mentor who can hold you accountable and keep you on track with your goal of designing your freedom lifestyle.
